Exclusive and charming boutique hotel inspired in the Seville of the Al-Andalus times.
This palace-house underwent a renovation that finished in May 2005.
Located near the Basilica Santa María de la Macarena and opposite the Hospital de las 5 Llagas, seat of the Andalusian parliament.
The hotel is placed where, according to the legend, Al-Mutamid (the king poet of Seville) hid from his father his love for the laundress Rumaykiyya.
Its sober but elegant façade doesn’t reveal what’s to be found inside. The colour explosion and the tinkling water take us back to the Seville of Al-Andalus.
Its architectural framework, with traditional materials from the Seville of the Andalusí times, is centered on the Mudéjar courtyard. The different rooms are arranged around it: front desk area, the “abacería”, the lounge, the breakfast room and the 15 rooms, all individually decorated and with a different structure where special attention has been paid to the stucco bathrooms, with tubs and showers.
The decoration, the fountain’s water, the scents and the taste of the Mozarabic and Sevillean “tapas” from the “abacería” bring along a quiet, peaceful and pleasurable atmosphere.
And the most amazing fact: our guests can buy any piece of the decoration they like the china, lamps, glassware, headboards, cloths, faucets, washbasins, curtains, paintings, materials and even the canopies. That way you can take home a piece of Al-Andalus.
